  • February 11th, Saturday, President's choice: “RCC BELLA CHOCOLATE BALL”---For your eating, listening and dancing pleasure---Join us at Red Fedele’s Brook House at 290 Elm Ridge Center Drive Greece for the: RCC evening, hors de oeuvres, specially prepared buffet, endless chocolate fountain, coffee and dessert table. Enjoy the sounds and singing of renowned artist and local celebrity ERNIE CAPONE as he performs live, favorites as; Jackie Wilson, Little Richard, Bobby Darin, Al Jolson, The Four Topps, Paul Anka, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and many other favorites and requests of today and yesteryear. Dance the night away or just listen and reminisce (bet you can’t just sit)!! Enjoy the evening for the reduced cost of $25 per person ($50/couple), cocktails and social hour at 5:30, dinner at 6:30. Tickets are required in advance, (non-members are welcome) $40/ person, $75/ couple. Don’t sit home in the winter and say RCC is no fun if the cars aren’t on the road! NOTE: In light of recent concerns, our previously arranged “open bar” has been changed to a “cash bar”. Ticket cost remains unchanged but we will expand the hors de oeuvres, dessert table and the chocolate fountain. Reservation deadline is January 31 as final counts must be submitted to the Brook House.

  • March 1st thru 4th, The Rochester International Car Show at the Riverside Convention Center; looking for 2 Corvettes to display and volunteers to support the club and chaperone the cars. Volunteers will have free entry to the show. Call Carmela at 585-739-1300 for information and to sign up for a time slot. Members selected cars will be transported by flattop provided by Action Towing, (unless you prefer to make your own arrangements). Cars need to move in Weds. February 29th at 3:00 and come out on Sunday at 6:00PM.

  • April 14th, Saturday, "RCC" Spring Cabin Party at "Dolomite Lodge" located in Penfield. Access from Jackson Road (preferred) or 3100 Atlantic Avenue behind the Penfield Town Hall. Join us at 1:00 for a Chicken BBQ including Salad, Corn on the cob, Mac salad, Salt potatoes, and Corn bread all served at 2:00. RCC will provide condiments, water and soda, bring your own place settings please. Members with their last names starting with "A"--"M" are asked to bring an appetizer and names starting with "N"--"Z" are asked to bring a dessert. Please reserve as soon as possible as we need head counts. Cost is $10 per person. This is our kick-off picnic and it is hoped we have a good response to set the tone for the busy summer to come, sunshine is a guarantee!   • June 14th-17th, Thursday thru Sunday, Canadian Historic Grand Prix, Bowmanville, Ontario Canada; 3 day VARAC (Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada) Event. All Corvette racers, high performance driving enthusiasts and fans are invited to take part in the largest and most exciting Vintage & Historic racing revival in Canada at the fabled MOSPORT track located one hour northeast of Toronto. Wilson-Niblett Performance, Canada’s largest Corvette Dealer is sponsoring activities to help make the 33rd annual Canadian Historic Grand Prix a most enjoyable Corvette adventure. The newly renovated race facility boasts Corvette driving legend Ron Fellows as a principal owner and director.   • June 29th thru July 1st, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday "Sahlens Six Hours of the Glen";(at Watkins Glen) Come watch the all new 2012 Corvette Daytona Prototype compete against the competition. This racing weekend will include the Grand-Am Rolex series and the Koni Challenge series Continental Tire 150. In the coming months I will be working on a Corvette Corral trackside and track laps between the racing. Also some Corvette Racing Team Paddock tours. Advance tickets will be $25.00 for the weekend.
