Enjoy the thrill of driving your Corvette (or street car) for three paced laps on the historic Watkins Glen International Raceway. Watkins Glen International Raceway is a 3.4 mile road race course featuring 11 turns.

Opening Day, Saturday, April 11th is the first day Watkins Glen International opens the track back up to fans after the winter and allows fans to drive the track for 3 paced laps (for a reduced club cost). All ticket proceeds go to the R.A.C.E. foundation and will be donated to a charity of the track’s choosing.

1 ticket per car permits three laps around the raceway and you may purchase additional tickets to receive take additional laps.

ROCHESTER CORVETTE CLUB specifics for Opening Day, Saturday, April 11th
Meeting Place: Wegman’s Canandaigua (Routes 5 & 20)
Gather: 9:30 am to 10:00 am Restrooms available
Depart for WGI: 10:00 am Arrive WGI: 11:00 am On Track: 11:30 am
If going separately, wait at Gate 2 on right side of driveway for the group. We will sign waivers and enter as a group. I expect that we will stage up behind the race garages. Restrooms available
Watkins Glen International is located at 2790 County Rt 16, Watkins Glen NY, 14891
When arriving, use Gate 2 directly off of County Rt 16 to enter the facility.
Staff will assist you in signing a waiver to participate in track laps. Each guest in the car will need to fill out and sign the waiver to participate.
RULES
Seatbelts must be worn at all times
Please keep your hands and mobile devices inside the vehicle
Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you
Maintain the speed as set by the pace car
DO NOT pass another vehicle, especially not the pace car
All participants are required to remain in their personal vehicles
Vehicle MUST be street legal. Motorcycles, rental cars, ATVs, golf carts, and/or large-capacity vehicles (15-passenger vans & buses) will not be permitted to drive the track
Drivers must be 18 years or older and a valid driver’s license & insurance are required upon arrival
Parent/legal guardian must accompany minors in the vehicle
All occupants must remain inside the vehicle at all times, with seatbelts on
Passengers are not permitted in truck beds
Helmets are not required.
The pace is set by the pace car and is meant to give visitors the opportunity to experience the raceway at a safe speed.

After completing your laps, be sure to visit our 4 Corner Pit Stop area for refreshing drinks, snacks, exclusive merchandise, and much more!
I am told that TrackTime Photos will be onsite again taking pictures. Usually coming up the Esses at Turn 4 and by the Bus Stop at Turn 6.
